Location: Bradford, West Yorkshire Job Type: Full-Time, Long-Term Salary: Paid to scale (Dependent on experience) Start Date: September 2026

Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-supported secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic History Teacher for a full-time, long-term position starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a committed humanities department and make a positive impact on student progress and engagement.

The Role:

  • Deliver high-quality History lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Plan, prepare, and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Take full responsibility for marking, assessment, and tracking pupil progress
  • Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with departmental and pastoral teams

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Experience teaching History within UK secondary schools
  • Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (essential)
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
