About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Lead and coordinate high-quality support through the Special Education and/or Early Childhood Development Program, including guidance for teachers working with students with disability.
  • Provide expert advice to school leaders and staff to plan and implement effective adjustments, alongside delivering targeted intervention for students who need additional support.
  • Coordinate case management for students requiring substantial adjustments and support staff in accessing specialist services, professional development, and external supports.
  • Contribute to whole-school improvement by participating in decision-making, implementing data systems, and monitoring student progress, including compliance with national data requirements.
  • Build strong partnerships with parents, agencies, and community groups while effectively managing resources to achieve program and school goals.

Highly desirable skills and experience:

  • In depth understanding of the Australian Curriculum Prep-Yr 12, including QCIAE.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks across cluster schools.
  • Strong communication skills, especially working with different teams in the various schools and mentoring.
