About this job

Reporting to the Head of College, the newly established Head of Senior Campus will lead Years 7 to 12 and provide clear accountability across teaching and learning, student wellbeing, staff leadership, operations and community engagement.

The appointee will drive student achievement through evidence-informed instructional leadership, effective use of data and purposeful staff development. They will also help shape a more streamlined, collaborative and sustainable leadership structure across the College.

The successful candidate will be an accomplished, visible and values-led secondary leader who builds trust, leads change with clarity and places students at the centre of every decision.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Commitment to actively support and promote the Greek Orthodox ethos, values and strategic vision of St Spyridon College.
  • Proven instructional leadership with the ability to improve teaching quality and student outcomes through evidence-informed practice.
  • Experience in leading strategic improvement, innovation and sustainable change within a secondary school setting.
  • Exceptional capacity to develop staff and leaders through coaching, mentoring and professional growth initiatives.
  • Strong operational leadership and organisational capability in managing the day-to-day functions of a secondary school.
  • Highly developed relationship-building and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, parents and the wider community.

Applicants must hold an approved teaching qualification, be accredited with or eligible for accreditation with NESA, and possess a current Working with Children Check. All staff must also complete a National Criminal Check. Postgraduate qualifications in education, educational leadership or a related field will be highly regarded.
