Step Into Your Next Chapter:

As a new school we are expecting approximately 440 to 660 year 7 and 8 students in 2027 and then growing rapidly each year towards 2400 students.

The successful applicant will be required to collaboratively develop Science units with their faculty team. In addition, they will be tasked with the promotion of the teaching of Reading as an essential skill for students to be successful in Science.

Highly developed interpersonal skills will be essential in building the capacity of subject coordinators and other staff. In addition, you will be required to work collaboratively with local primary schools to build on existing practices, cater for the needs of adolescent learners and ensure that the transition from primary school to secondary school is as seamless as possible and that the outcomes as described in "On Track for Success" are achieved.

As the school grows each year, you will be required to ensure that students are able to transition to senior secondary pathways of choice and be "Ready for the Future".

You will be a contributing member of the foundation curriculum, teaching and learning team and add value to the evolution of the school as it grows and develops over time.

Responsibilities include:

  • Embed socially just practices in daily school life.
  • Set high standards for student and staff performance.
  • Actively participate in lifelong learning and ongoing professional development.
  • Form partnerships with students, parents, other government agencies, and community groups.
