About the Role

The Head of Department - Junior Secondary / Humanities will:

  • Lead and support high-quality teaching and learning practices across Junior Secondary and Humanities.
  • Drive curriculum development, pedagogical improvement, and student achievement outcomes.
  • Support and mentor staff through collaborative and instructional leadership.
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff, families, and community stakeholders.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, engagement, and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute strategically as a member of the school leadership team.
