About the Role

The successful applicant will demonstrate a proven track record in curriculum design and implementation, with particular expertise in Version 9 of the Australian Curriculum (AC v9).

A deep understanding of current educational research and best practice is essential, including the principles of explicit instruction and the science of reading.

As the Head of Department (Curriculum), your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Demonstrated experience leading the implementation of AC v9
  • Expertise in curriculum planning, development, and evaluation
  • Strong instructional leadership with a focus on improving student outcomes
  • Capacity to build staff capability through coaching and professional development
  • Commitment to data-informed practice and continuous improvement
