Reporting to the Deputy Principal Campus Operations, the Head of Campus – Senior Secondary is a significant educational and operational leadership role with responsibility for creating an engaging, rigorous and future-focused senior secondary experience for Year 11 and 12 students. Working collaboratively as part of the CREST Leadership Team, the Head of Campus will provide strategic, cultural and day-to-day leadership across learning, student wellbeing, staff development and campus operations. As a visible, relational and inspiring leader, they will foster high expectations, use evidence and data to improve student outcomes, strengthen staff capability and ensure the Senior Secondary campus contributes meaningfully to CREST’s aligned, integrated ‘one school’ approach. The idea candidate will display a passion for empowering senior secondary students to fulfill their incredible potential through a range of pathways of learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead a culture of excellence in senior secondary learning, teaching and wellbeing, informed by evidence, data and contemporary practice.
- Champion innovative, engaging and future-focused learning that prepares students for their educational pathway and a life of service.
- Provide visible, relational and values-led leadership to students, staff, families and the broader CREST community.
- Build staff capability through purposeful development, distributed leadership, high expectations and professional accountability.
- Oversee the effective operation of the Senior Secondary campus, including curriculum, co-curricular programs, staffing, resources, student standards and communications.
- Maintain a strong culture of safety, wellbeing, compliance and risk management, including commitment to Child Safe standards.
The preferred candidate will be an experienced school leader with a lived Christian faith, a strong record of educational leadership and demonstrated capacity to translate strategy into sustained improvement. They will combine instructional credibility with exceptional interpersonal, communication and stakeholder-management skills, and bring resilience, cultural awareness and a genuine capacity to build community. A Degree in Education and current VIT registration are required, with postgraduate qualifications in Educational Leadership or a related field desirable. The position includes a 0.2 FTE teaching allocation per fortnight.
