Veritas Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Heysham.

This is a fantastic opportunity to support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where pupils can thrive. The role is full-time and offers the chance to become a valued member of a supportive school team.

The Role:

  • Supporting teaching and learning within the EYFS classroom
  • Delivering activities that promote children's development and engagement
  • Providing support to individuals and small groups
  • Assisting with observations and recording pupil progress
  • Helping to create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
  • Working closely with the class teacher and wider school staff

    • Requirements:

  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above preferred)
  • Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS Framework
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive and caring approach
