Level 3 EYFS Practitioner - Permanent, Full-Time

Location: Shenfield, Essex Salary: £1,800 - £2,300 per month Start Date: Immediate / September Contract: Permanent | Full-time

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified EYFS Practitioner to join a welcoming preschool in Shenfield on a permanent, full-time basis.

Working as part of the preschool team, you will support young children through engaging, play-based learning activities, helping them develop their communication, social skills, independence and early learning foundations.

The setting places a strong emphasis on early childhood development, positive relationships and creating a safe, stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of high-quality early years education and play-based activities

  • Work collaboratively with the preschool team to support children's development

  • Plan and deliver engaging activities suited to children's ages and developmental needs

  • Support children's communication, language, social and emotional development

  • Observe, assess and record children's progress

  • Encourage positive behaviour, confidence and independence

  • Build strong relationships with children, parents and colleagues

  • Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating learning environment

  • Follow safeguarding procedures and early years policies

    • Requirements

    Essential:

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare

  • Experience working with children in a preschool, nursery or EYFS setting

  • Good understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A patient, caring and enthusiastic approach

  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development

    • Desirable:

  • Previous experience working as an EYFS Practitioner

  • Experience supporting children with additional needs

  • Paediatric First Aid qualification

  • Up-to-date safeguarding training

  • Experience planning and delivering play-based learning activities
