About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Support teaching and learning by assisting with classroom activities, small group and individual instruction, literacy and numeracy tasks, and supervision under teacher direction.
- Provide student care and wellbeing support, including first aid, assisting students with special needs, and demonstrating empathy, confidentiality, and sensitivity in all interactions.
- Assist with school operations and administration, including clerical tasks, record keeping, managing class rolls, handling payments, and preparing teaching materials.
- Manage and maintain resources, equipment, and learning materials, including stocktaking, preparation, storage, and general care.
- Contribute to school activities and supervision, including excursions, sporting events, playground and bus duty, while working collaboratively as an effective team member.
