Your Role
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver high-quality business services across the school with a high degree of autonomy, interpreting complex information, adapting processes to meet changing needs, and ensuring effective operational outcomes.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Principal and school leadership team, including preparing reports and correspondence, conducting research, identifying issues, and recommending practical solutions to support informed decision-making.
- Lead and supervise school support staff, overseeing workload allocation, performance, recruitment, induction, training, leave management, rostering, and workforce capability development while role-modelling professional standards.
- Support the effective management of school finances by assisting with budget preparation and administration, monitoring expenditure, managing payroll and purchasing activities, producing financial reports, and providing advice on financial matters in line with legislation and policy.
- Oversee facilities, grounds, and resource management, providing advice on maintenance and minor works, coordinating contractors and repairs, managing associated budgets, and identifying opportunities to improve resource sustainability and efficiency.
- Build strong relationships with staff, community representatives, and professional networks to promote best practice, while demonstrating empathy, sound judgement, and strong interpersonal skills when managing sensitive situations and supporting positive outcomes for students and staff.
