Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-respected secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a committed and inspiring English Teacher. This is a full-time, long-term position commencing in September, with the potential to continue for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to join a supportive department and make a meaningful impact on pupils' progress and attainment in English.

Role Overview

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages
  • Plan, prepare and assess students' work in line with school expectations
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department
  • Maintain strong classroom management and positive learning environments

    • Key Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching English within a UK secondary school
  • DBS on the Update Service - essential
  • Ability to take on full planning and marking responsibilities
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
