English Teacher - Long-Term Opportunity (September Start) Location: Sheffield Salary: Paid to Scale Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term (Potential Full Academic Year)

Veritas Education is proud to be working in partnership with a well-regarded secondary school in the Sheffield area to recruit a committed and enthusiastic English Teacher. This is a full-time, long-term position, starting in September, with the potential to extend for the full academic year following a successful probation period.

The Role:

  • Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (knowledge of KS5 advantageous but not essential)
  • Full teaching timetable with complete planning and marking responsibilities
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Working collaboratively within a supportive English department

    • The Ideal Candidate:

  • Holds QTS (or equivalent recognised UK teaching qualification)
  • Has a current DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)
  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management
  • Is reliable, professional, and committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning
