About the RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic, talented, and dedicated Teacher of English to join our successful and supportive secondary school in the London Borough of Greenwich. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to inspire a love of literature and language, while helping students develop strong analytical and communication skills.

The successful candidate will teach across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for a suitably experienced applicant. You will deliver engaging, creative, and challenging lessons that motivate students and support them in achieving their full potential.

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A strong academic background in English or a related field
  • Ability to teach English Language and Literature at GCSE level (A-Level desirable)
  • A commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • A collaborative and reflective approach to professional development
