Are you passionate about supporting children and young adults with complex needs? Do you have experience providing personal care and helping individuals with medical, physical and learning needs?

These roles combine classroom support with personal care, supporting learners from early years through to post-16 (up to 19 years old). We are looking for caring, adaptable individuals who can provide high-quality support and help pupils feel safe, comfortable and included.

The Role:

  • Provide a combination of classroom assistance and personal care.

  • Support pupils with complex learning needs, medical conditions and physical disabilities.

  • Assist with personal hygiene and intimate care sensitively and respectfully.

  • Support learners across different age groups and classroom environments.

  • Assist with care routines and medical support in line with training and school procedures.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, healthcare staff and support teams to meet individual needs.

    • Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS check - guidance available if needed.

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker or Complex Needs Teaching Assistant.

  • Confidence providing personal and intimate care.

  • A patient, compassionate and flexible approach to supporting individual needs.
