Location: Sunderland Pay: £95-£105 per day Start: October Half Term Full-time & part-time opportunities available

Looking for a rewarding role supporting autistic children and young people?

Veritas Education is recruiting enthusiastic and caring Autism Support Assistants to work within a specialist education setting in Sunderland.

The school supports children and young people across a broad 4-19 age range, with learning tailored to pupils' individual needs and future pathways.

The role:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support
  • Support communication, engagement and independence
  • Help learners access education at their own pace
  • Provide consistent, patient and positive support
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider support team

    • We'd love to hear from:

  • SEN Teaching Assistants
  • Autism Support Workers
  • Residential & Care Support Workers
  • Youth Workers & Mentors
  • Psychology/Education graduates
  • People with transferable experience supporting children or vulnerable individuals

    • School experience is desirable, but not essential for applicants with strong transferable experience.
