About us:

Parramatta State School, located centrally in Cairns, strives for success for all students in a welcoming and accepting environment. Our Prep to Year 6 curriculum is taught using the Australian Curriculum, including the General Capabilities, catering for Student Diversity, inclusive practices and embedding the Cross Curriculum Priorities including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Histories and Cultures. 

Our school focuses on literacy and numeracy, but offers a broad curriculum that integrates the use of learning technologies. Every classroom is equipped with a ceiling/wall digital projector and teachers and students have access to a modern library, music and sports facilities.
