Reporting directly to the Headmaster, the Deputy Head and Head of Senior School is a pivotal executive appointment responsible for the leadership, culture and daily operation of the Senior School, while contributing to whole-of-College strategy, improvement and organisational effectiveness. As a key member of the Executive, the successful candidate will shape workplace culture, drive educational excellence, lead strategic initiatives and deputise for the Headmaster as required.

Leading a highly capable Senior School leadership team, the successful candidate will champion excellence in teaching and learning, foster wellbeing and belonging, and ensure every student is known, supported and challenged. The role oversees academic operations, curriculum, student wellbeing, co-curricular programs, professional learning and leadership development, whilst building trusted partnerships across the College community.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • Commitment to model and promote the College’s values, vision and inclusive culture.
  • Proven leadership of high-quality teaching, learning, curriculum and student wellbeing.
  • Experience in leading sustainable improvement, innovation and organisational change.
  • Ability to develop staff capability, performance, wellbeing and leadership potential.
  • Expertise in the strategic and operational management of a complex Senior School.
  • Exceptional ability to build trusted relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.

Offered as a full-time executive leadership appointment, applicants must hold appropriate teaching qualifications, current NESA accreditation and a valid Working with Children Check.
