About the Role

Veritas Education is currently working with a secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a confident and adaptable Cover Teacher for an immediate start.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher, ECT, or experienced educator looking to secure a long-term role within a supportive school environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining high standards within the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons using pre-planned materials
  • Maintain a positive and productive learning environment
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensure students remain focused and engaged in their learning
  • Adapt to different subjects and year groups where required
  • Provide feedback to departments and school leaders following lessons
  • Support the wider aims and ethos of the school

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching experience
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Confident delivering lessons across a range of subjects
