Veritas Education is currently recruiting Cover Supervisors to work in a range of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Leigh and the surrounding areas.

We are seeking enthusiastic, adaptable and professional individuals who can confidently supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring students remain engaged and on task with pre-set work.

The Role:
  • Deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support students in completing set work
  • Work on a flexible basis with day-to-day and short-term assignments available
  • Build relationships with local secondary schools and gain valuable school-based experience
    • Requirements:
  • Experience working with young people is desirable
  • Strong communication and behaviour management skills
  • A confident and professional manner
  • Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Right to work in the UK
