Veritas Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-regarded secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a Cover Supervisor. We are seeking adaptable and confident individuals to support the school on either a full-time basis or ad hoc/short-term assignments, starting immediately and continuing into the new academic year from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced support staff looking to gain valuable classroom experience in a supportive school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver pre-set lesson plans in the absence of teaching staff
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Ensure a positive and productive learning environment
  • Support students with their learning and maintain engagement
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff following lessons

    • About You:

  • Confident communicator with strong classroom presence
  • Experience working with young people (education, coaching, tutoring or similar) is desirable
  • Flexible, reliable, and able to adapt to different subjects and settings
  • A genuine interest in education and supporting student development
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
