About the Role:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Form strategic partnerships with schools, health professionals and families as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Deliver school staff education through in-service training scenarios.
- Support capability building, curriculum planning, resource development and school improvement initiatives.
- Develop evidence informed methodology effectively implementing across state schools in your area.
- Develop emergency health plans supporting students in education setting.
- Consult various stakeholders to enhance professional nursing practices and standards.
- Maintain and build professional networks.
- Form partnerships with other allied health professionals to increase network capacity.
- Analyse policies, procedures, legislation, codes and standards to support continuous improvement through the delivery of health services across the state.
- High level consultation providing information to parents, staff and students.
- Actively participate as a valued team member across multi-disciplinary settings and represent your profession at all times.
Please note the position is based at Rosella Park School, Gladstone, but is supporting multiple schools in Gladstone and the surrounding area.
This position is a Permanent Part-time role of 45.6 hours per fortnight or 0.6 FTE.

- Pay parity in line with the Nurses and Midwives (Queensland Health and Department of Education) certified agreement (EB11) 2022.
