About the Role:

As the Cleaner, you will:

  • Contribute to the efficient and effective operation and environment of the site by providing a high level of cleaning support.
  • Ensure that the duties prescribed for the position are completed to an acceptable standard as determined by their supervisor, in accordance with the approved school cleaning program.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general cleaning and sanitising of school facilities, including classrooms, offices, amenities, and sick bays.
  • Maintain floors, windows, furniture, equipment, and outdoor areas to a high standard.
  • Manage rubbish removal, litter control, graffiti removal, and basic facility upkeep.
  • Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Support school security through locking/unlocking buildings and managing security systems.
  • Report maintenance, safety, and security issues and liaise with school leadership regarding cleaning requirements and supplies.
  • Provide assistance and direction to visitors as required.
