Position Information
Woy Woy Public School is seeking a highly motivated, collaborative and visible Assistant Principal to join our dynamic executive team. The successful applicant will provide strong instructional leadership, supporting high-quality teaching and learning, curriculum implementation and improved outcomes for all students.
The role requires a leader with demonstrated capacity to build staff capability, promote high expectations and support the diverse learning, wellbeing and behavioural needs of students within an inclusive school environment.
As a member of the executive team, the Assistant Principal will contribute to whole-school improvement priorities, student and staff wellbeing, effective school operations and positive partnerships with families and the wider school community.
The successful applicant will be an approachable, flexible and solution-focused leader who demonstrates a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, Aboriginal education and the values and vision of Woy Woy Public School.

1. Demonstrated leadership in developing high-quality programs using explicit, evidence-based teaching practices, driving whole school improvement through data analysis.
2. Highly visible leadership with demonstrated capacity to lead student-centred practices and whole school processes, resulting in enhanced student engagement and a working partnership with the wider community.
3. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to lead, mentor and inspire both experienced and early career staff, fostering a culture of high expectations, continuous improvement and positive collaboration with all stakeholders.
4. Demonstrated ability to lead a positive, inclusive and equitable school culture through proactive wellbeing practices and skilled management of complex student behaviour.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
