Position Information
Nuwarra Public School opened in 1974 and has over 500 students currently enrolled. Included in this number are 19 mainstream and 8 Special Education Classes (5 Hearing Support and 3 Autism Mild/Moderate intellectual disability). It is situated in the Chipping Norton Network within the suburb of Moorebank, New South Wales. Nuwarra Public School provides a differentiated and innovative environment where the school and community work in partnership to achieve quality learning experiences within a culture of high expectations and inclusivity.

Specific Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated leadership in developing high-quality, differentiated literacy and numeracy programs, using explicit, evidence-based teaching practices, and driving whole-school improvement through student data analysis.
- Highly visible and collaborative leader fostering a positive, inclusive school culture, skilled in behaviour management and implementing wellbeing initiatives.
- Experienced in building staff capacity through instructional leadership while balancing classroom teaching and school leadership responsibilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills for building effective partnerships with families and the community
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
