Position Information
Lismore South Public School has a combination of highly experienced and early career teachers who are supported through targeted professional learning aligned with new curriculum implementation, explicit teaching, equity and high potential gifted education. There is a focus on delivering excellence in teaching and learning with an emphasis on high expectations, ensuring every student is supported to continuously improve and achieve their best. The school is committed to the delivery of the Broader Bundjalung Language program from P-6.

Specific Selection Criteria
- An exemplary teacher who can successfully lead and support teachers to engage with and adopt explicit, evidence-based teaching methods and the use of data in literacy and numeracy.
- A highly visible and approachable team leader with well-developed communication and organisational skills, committed to strengthening positive partnerships with students, staff, parents/carers and the wider community.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a part of a dynamic leadership team; collaboratively leading and monitoring whole school initiatives to drive continuous school improvement, building and maintaining a culture of high expectations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead whole-school approaches to wellbeing, behaviour and inclusion.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
