Position Information
At Granville Public School we have an enrolment of approximately 650 students, including a preschool and seven special education classes. With 98% of our students learning English as an additional language, our cultural richness is integral to our community and is respected and celebrated in all that we do.

General Selection Criteria
Specific Selection Criteria
- Approval to teach K-6 and demonstrated experience in balancing exemplary classroom practice and coordination of the complex leadership and management role of an Assistant Principal.
- Strong instructional leadership to oversee stage based evidence-informed informed teaching and learning programs and processes (including explicit teaching, use of data to inform teaching and learning) to support teachers to positively impact on student learning outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and contribute to whole school improvement initiatives which positively impact on student, teacher and community outcomes.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
