This is the first ever after-hours teacher event at our new, environmentally unique and constantly changing Calyx. Be the first teachers to visit our living art gallery and learning facility and experience a delight for the senses! Celebrate the end of term and join us for wine, chocolate and fun in a living art gallery that’s not only a delight to the senses but also an exciting new learning facility.
Behind the green curtain we will unveil a world-class educational experience that is unlike anything you’ve seen before. A fusion of art, theatre and flora, the Calyx will feature themed exhibitions that address conservation and environmental issues in an imaginative way. It’s showtime for plants – complete with lights, sounds and a few surprises!
The inaugural exhibition launches with Sweet Addiction – the Botanic Story of Chocolate. Sweet Addiction is an opportunity to touch, see, smell, taste and experience chocolate like never before.
You will also have the opportunity to learn about our world-class educational programs at the beautiful Royal Botanic Garden Sydney.
