In this workshop, Ms Alison Sutton will share the findings of her work in the Talking Matters project in South Auckland and provide advice on what can be done to promote better talking in children, in light of recent cocnerns about poor language development in children.
Dr Susan Morton will share the results of her longitudinal study in Auckland, calling Growing Up in New Zealand.
The workshop will be held at the War Memorial Centre on October 31, from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Entry is via a gold coin donation. RSVP by emailing wlearningc@gmail.com.
