Yanderra Public School is a small, family orientated school situated approximately 6km from Bargo. The school is in the Wollondilly Principals Network of the Regional South Operational Directorate.
Yanderra Public School has a Teaching Principal and a small team of dedicated staff. The school currently has two multi–stage classes and an enrolment of 47 students. 93% of our students come from English speaking backgrounds. The school is committed to providing a nurturing learning environment that meets the educational needs of all children. It is a Positive Behaviour for Learning school that allows for consistency of expected behaviours across the school. The school’s curriculum has a strong focus on English and Mathematics. The school is well equipped to promote future focused learning with ample technological resources including Interactive Whiteboards in every room, access to iPads, laptops and connected classrooms. All staff work closely with students to fully develop their potential and achieve their personal best, consistent with our school motto: ‘Strive to Excel.
