Sussex Inlet Public School is located in a small coastal town serving a predominantly low socio-economic community. Our school has a current population of 237 students, comprising 11 classes from Kindergarten to Year 6. We currently have 24 Aboriginal students enrolled.

The school values and encourages participation by all members of the community in its programs and provides opportunities for its students across a broad range of areas, including academic, sporting and cultural.

The school has a strong emphasis on wellbeing and promoting the core values of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). The school provides opportunities so that every student, every teacher and every leader improves every year. Our school's values of Fair, Inclusive, Safe and Honest are reflected in every aspect of student learning.

We maintain high expectations and recognise and celebrate success and achievement of both students and staff. Sussex Inlet Public School implements a broad tailored curriculum which considers the unique needs of every individual and ensures equitable access to every learning opportunity. The school is a member of the Bay and Basin Learning Community.
