Murrumburrah Public School is a dynamic school in the heart of the Riverina. There are 9 classes and 189 students who enjoy the beautiful school grounds and fixable, well equipped learning spaces. Students benefit from quality teaching, delivered by both experienced and early career teachers. 20% of students have Aboriginal or Torres Straight heritage.

The community is drawn from a mixture of family types where parents may work, study, care for children at home or combine all of these lifestyles. Parents provide support for their children in many ways including through an active P&C.

The school participates in the Early Action for Success program and as such, staff access the latest professional learning in research-based teaching methods with the support of an Instructional Leader. We excel in providing wellbeing programs and provide positive discipline through the Positive Behavior for Learning program.

The school houses a mutli-categorical class, which strengthens our commitment to inclusive education. An effective Learning Support Team provides structures to support the needs of the school community. Student mental health and use of technology are areas of particular focus for the school.
