Mary Brooksbank School, enrolment 82 students, is a leader in quality education for students with a moderate or severe intellectual disability aged from 4-18 years (K-12). Many students have multiple disabilities including autism, physical disabilities and a mental health diagnosis.
Students at Mary Brooksbank School come from varied non-English speaking backgrounds, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander backgrounds, low socio-economic status and children and young people who live in out of home care. The school has a reputation for excellence in special education and values strong relationships with families, other agencies and the community.
