Kiama Public School is located in the Kiama Township on the South Coast of NSW and has a growing enrolment of 536, including 22 Aboriginal students and 40 students with a non-English speaking background.

The school is comprised of 21 mainstream classes for students K-6, with a clear focus on wellbeing.

Kiama Public School is committed to the delivery of excellence in teaching and learning programs for all students in a culture that fosters respect, responsibility and resilience.

The school is fast developing a culture of Innovation, and has been recognised as being among the nation’s top 40 most innovative schools in ‘Educator Magazine’. Kiama Public School has an outdoor cooking space, a thriving garden with animals, a designated STEM room, and varied associated programs such as 3D printing. The school also has a strong culture of Performing Arts with a brass band, a choir, and numerous dance ensembles, along with annual productions for the community.

Finally, quality teaching and effective pedagogy are paramount at Kiama Public School. The current school plan focus strongly on developing effective strategies in numeracy, applying educational psychology, and making learning visible for students.
