Kiama High School is a large comprehensive school with 1060 students, including 30 Aboriginal students. We provide a quality learning environment which encourages collaboration and innovation to enrich the lives of all students. Staff are committed to delivering high academic standards in a positive, nurturing environment. Our Positive Behaviour for Learning core values of Respect, Responsibility and Excellence underpin all aspects of school life fostering an affirming focus on developing the whole person - educationally, socially and emotionally. The school runs a very successful music program and has developed a strong student wellbeing framework. We enjoy a student exchange program with a school in Udine, Italy and have a study tour to Japan. Current priority areas include the development of aspirational and empowered students, building a culture of thinking as well as whole school sustainability initiatives and an interest elective focusing on Environmental Studies.
