Keira High School has an enrolment of 888 students, including 34 Aboriginal students and 37% from a non-English speaking background.  The school is a vital member of a dynamic learning community with authentic partnerships and alliances across primary, secondary and tertiary settings. Keira students are challenged by a rigorous, broad and inclusive curriculum that seeks academic excellence and social success for all.  The school's focus on individualised learning is enhanced by professional learning agendas and proactive programs of wellbeing and learning support.  The school proudly hosts a special education unit that is relentless in seeking outstanding pathways for its learners.  The school is committed to Aboriginal Education and is unique in its delivery of Aboriginal Studies to all students in Stage 4.  Extensive programs that target creative and performing arts, sport, civics and citizenship are intrinsic to the school's high profile within and beyond its local community.

 

The Head Teacher PDHPE will lead an innovative and dynamic PDHPE faculty. Directly supervise the school's extensive careers and pathways programs, Directed Senior Study and the school's merit system.
