Karabar High School is a 7-12 comprehensive high school located in Queanbeyan, NSW. The school strives to ensure all students are provided with a quality comprehensive education; catering for all studentâsâ academic, cultural, social and sporting skills development. We are proud of our quality co-educational, comprehensive and inclusive programs which are appropriately adjusted for the learning styles of our students.
Karabar High School is a partially selective high school that provides a comprehensive curriculum for 920 students (including 110 Aboriginal students) in a face to face setting. This includes a Support unit of 6 classes. The school also manages the Queanbeyan and South East Industry Training College which caters for students who wish an alternate path to the HSC.
The school works closely with the local AECG and engages in parent consultation groups focused on specific issues each term.
