The Institute of Industrial Arts Technology Education is the key body providing professional leadership in the Technology and Engineering Education area with specific focus on the Industrial Arts, on Engineering, Technology and Design learning in New South Wales schools.
The Institute provides a range of professional development opportunities accredited by the NSW Institute of Teachers. Membership of the Institute brings discounts, collegiality and the delivery of the Institute DVD/CD journal.
The Institute is responsible for bringing a range of teaching resources to all teachers and to members. Many are available here, free of charge.
The Institute is managed by its council of management who meet 4 times a year. All members are welcome to attend council meetings.
Teacher Excellence Awards are presented at the conference each year.
