Freemans Reach Public School is a welcoming school situated in an idyllic rural setting above the Hawkesbury River, north-west of Windsor. The school currently has 161 students in 7 classes and caters for a wide range of needs and learning abilities. The school student population includes a small indigenous community (7%) and students with a language background other than English (10.8%).

Freemans Reach Public School has recently initiated wellbeing programs that highlight the positive behaviour of students within the school. Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) is an integral part of our daily practice and aims to bring together the school community to contribute to developing a respectful, safe, environmentally friendly and high expectations learning culture.

Collaborative and consultative leadership drive the school's strategic directions and school plan. The school has a strong focus on developing consistent, high quality educational, evidence-informed practices to ensure students are at the centre of all learning opportunities.

Freemans Reach Public School prides itself in offering a wide range of enrichment opportunities in the creative and performing arts, leadership, sports, environmental and academic pursuits for students to enhance their skills in areas of personal interest. The school is committed to strengthening inclusivity, values positive community relationships and has an active Parents and Citizens' Association and network of neighbouring schools.
