Eurongilly Public School is a small rural school in the Gundagai Principals Network of the Rural South and West Operational Directorate. The school was established in 1918 and has an enrolment of 26 students, drawn from the surrounding farming community.


Eurongilly Public School is about excellence and equity and aims to prepare students to meet the challenges of the future. The school serves as a focus for the Eurongilly community, particularly as there is no town. The community is very proud of and passionate about the school.

Eurongilly Public School is committed to delivering quality educational programs to develop each student’s literacy and numeracy ability by providing an opportunity for highly individualised and differentiated learning programs to suit each learners' development. The school priorities a nurturing learning environment that meets the educational needs of all children. This is achieved through fostering strong relationships between the staff, students and parents to ensure the school delivers an environment where the academic, social and emotional growth of every child is the focus.

Eurongilly Public School is a proud member of the Ngumba-Dal Learning Community and an active participant in the local network of schools. The school has an active P&C committee who are committed to supporting the school and students.
