Culburra Public School is a welcoming and inclusive school consisting of 185 enrolments of whom 25% come from an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background.  The school is one where students become confident, resilient and empathetic learners in a climate of mutual respect and high expectations.  Our staff are from diverse backgrounds and range of experience, and are highly committed to collaborative practice and sharing of expertise.

Teaching and learning programs are inclusive and differentiated to ensure successful progression for all students.  Our school has strong cultural sporting and wellbeing programs that recognises and celebrates the achievement of our students across a range of academic, creative, performing arts and sporting endeavours.

The school is well-resourced, encourages authentic consultation with parents and carers that focuses on building on current strengths and striving to continuously improve.  The school has a small but active Parents and Citizens’ Association, Jerrinja Aboriginal Education Consultative Group and Student Representative Council, working together to provide a safe and secure learning environment where students are known, valued and cared for.

Our school is a proud member of the Shoalhaven Community of Schools.

A copy of the school plan and annual school report can be found on the school website: https://culburra-p.schools.nsw.gov.au/about-our-school/school-planning-and-reporting.html
