Corowa South Public School is a small school located on the banks of the Murray River. It has been providing quality education in Corowa South since 1898. The school currently has an enrolment of 52 students which includes 7% Aboriginal students. Corowa South Public School has a caring team of professional and dedicated teaching and non-teaching staff, who are at various stages of their careers.
The school culture is collaborative and supportive. It maintains a strong partnership with parents and their community through an active Parents and Citizens Committee. There is a focus on a whole school integrated approach to student wellbeing developing students as independent, self-directed learners with the capacity for creativity, compassion, leadership and curiosity. Curriculum emphasis is around strong foundations in literacy and numeracy, formative assessment, learning progressions and collaboration.
