The Assistant Principal Learning and Support position is based at Corowa Public School, whilst supporting the service the learning and support needs of the Hume network of schools. The Hume Network encompasses a variety of school sites from Secondary, Central, Medium Primary and small schools who work in collaboration with strong links to the communities and allied services. Our largest primary school has 220 students with two support classes and our smallest school has 7 students, our two secondary schools are of a medium size with one school supports a Multi categorical class. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with schools across the network, to support students with additional learning and support needs, and their teachers.
The work emphasises the delivery of support in schools and will liaise and be in collaborations with the area delivery support team. The Assistant principal Learning and Support also provides professional support for Learning and Support Teachers through professional learning activities, network meetings and individual advice and support.
