Corowa High School (enrolment 345 students, including 2% Aboriginal students) is a comprehensive high school that services a small and diverse rural community. The school offers a broad academic and vocational curriculum which is supported by a Trade Centre (metals and engineering) and a Trade Training Centre (hospitality). The school is also unique in its capacity to teach viticulture as part of its agricultural courses. In 2015 the school transitioned to a compressed curriculum which allows our students greater flexibility in senior subject choices and supports our strong academic and student wellbeing focuses. Corowa High School is committed to improving student literacy and numeracy outcomes, building the leadership capacity of its staff and students and providing a positive school climate that fosters partnerships with parents and the wider community.
