Cambewarra Public School is located at the foothill of Cambewarra Mountain in the Shoalhaven Network of schools. The school is set on large grounds with buildings that reflect the long history of the school. It was established in 1859 and moved the current location in 1988. The school has 285 students (24 Aboriginal). Students at Cambewarra Public School enjoy rich learning experiences in a caring and supportive environment. It has an outstanding reputation in the wider community. Cambewarra students are valued, known and cared for. The school motto is âStrive for the Highestâ.
The school prides itself on strong genuine partnerships with families supporting the schoolâs shared vision. The school enjoys a positive and active P&C, and out of school morning and afternoon program. We have a Defence Mentor program for our defence families.
