Blackalls Park Public School (FOEI 136) has an enrolment of 209 students with 20% of students identifying as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. The school has an experienced and dedicated staff and a strong relationship with an active and supportive Parents and Citizens' Association. The school is a proud member of the Toronto Learning Community (TLC) and Mankillikan, the Aboriginal Educational Consultative Group (AECG).

The school focuses on the core values of respect, responsibility and quality learning to ensure the continued excellence of student outcomes in literacy, numeracy, wellbeing and engagement. Planning, programming, assessment and using data to inform teaching and learning are areas of ongoing improvement.  The school is focusing on embedding reflective practices and effective feedback structures. Continual monitoring of student performance data will determine areas of need and success at a student, class and school level.

Blackalls Park Public School offers a broad range of activities to support engagement including performing arts, cultural, leadership, sporting, environmental and academic pursuits. The range of extra-curricular opportunities enable students to excel through a range of different experiences.

The involvement of the whole school community in the implementation of the Strategic Improvement Plan will be essential in ensuring ongoing student and school improvement.
