Resource Description
The phenotype is the observable characteristics in an organism. It is affected by the organism’s genotype, or the organism’s set of genes, and environmental influences. The phenotype can change throughout the organism’s lifetime due to aging and the environment. Examples of phenotype are hair colour, height, eye colour, behaviour, and general appearance.
