Set of slides presenting an introduction to diseases for year 10 students. Students will explore content surrounding the following learning goals. 

1. To understand the difference between infectious and non-infectious disease.

2. To identify common pathogen based on characteristics.

3. To understand the measures of control for the transmission of infectious diseases.

4. To understand the first line of defence in animals and plants.

5. To design and conduct an investigation to compare the effectiveness of handwashing.
