Budding young authors and illustrators in Western Australia have been busy creating and publishing their own books from scratch, thanks to some forward-thinking Government funding.

Renowned junior fiction author Kristy Nita Brown led more than 150 students on a Book Builders Challenge to produce captivating works including picture books, chapter books and graphic novels.
