Pam Kent is the president of the South Australian Primary Principals Association (SAPPA), which represents principals, deputy principals, assistant principals and senior leaders in the state. With 540 current members, the association covers 90 to 95 per cent of all government schools in South Australia. Kent, pictured, tells Australian Teacher Magazine about the objectives of the association this year, and why it is important to be a member of a teaching association.
